Scrub Nurse

You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scrub Nurse who will play a crucial role in our surgical team. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, ensuring the sterility of surgical instruments and supplies, and assisting surgeons during operative procedures. Your contribution is essential in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for successful surgical interventions. Your main duties will involve preparing the operating room for surgery, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and maintaining a strict aseptic technique to prevent contamination. You will also be responsible for monitoring the surgical field, anticipating the needs of the surgeon and other team members, and ensuring the proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials and used surgical instruments. Collaboration with circulating nurses and other healthcare professionals is crucial to provide optimal patient care, and documenting surgical procedures accurately is also part of your role. Your qualifications should include a Registered Nurse (RN) license with a valid practicing certificate, prior experience as a Scrub Nurse or in a perioperative setting, and certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques, along with excellent organizational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for this position. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires you to work in person at our facility.
