Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager – Operations & Special Projects to lead the execution and management of key operational initiatives, primarily focused on waste management projects across 12–15 railway stations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, vendor management, project execution, and P&L accountability. The role demands high levels of ownership, strategic thinking, and day-to-day operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Operations Management for waste management projects at multiple railway stations. Lead and supervise cross-functional teams on-ground; ensure smooth daily operations. Drive efficiency, compliance, and performance benchmarks across all project sites. Maintain and improve vendor relationships; oversee vendor onboarding, negotiation, and SLA adherence. Operate the waste management division as a standalone profit center, including budget forecasting, cost controls, and revenue optimization. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics; prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for the CEO. Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies across operational workflows. Ensure all activities adhere to environmental, safety, and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and develop risk mitigation plans. Proven track record of leading large teams and multi-site operations. Strong grasp of vendor management, service contracts, and compliance. Demonstrated experience in managing a P&L and driving profitability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in dynamic, field-based environments with frequent travel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
