Scrap Yard Manager

As a Yard Operations Manager, your role will involve overseeing the daily operations of a scrap metal or recycling yard with a focus on safety, efficiency, inventory management, and financial profitability. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising yard personnel and assigning tasks as necessary - Ensuring that all safety protocols are implemented and followed - Maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies - Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations - Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures - Maintaining records and reports on yard activities - Participating in hiring and training of yard personnel - Maintaining and repairing equipment as needed - Managing budget and expenses for the yard In addition to the specific responsibilities, you will be required to participate in the hiring and training of yard personnel.
