Job Description

The candidate should hold a Masters degree in any area of life science and has 2-7 years of experience in biochemical and cell based assay development, optimization, validation and high throughput screening.
The role requires handson experience in handling instruments such as Echo, liquid handlers, multidrop combi and plate readers, and in working with assay formats including HTRF, TRFRET and AlphaLISA.
The candidate has knowledge of statistical analysis of assay data and can interpret results in terms of potency and mechanism of action.
The role needs basic to intermediate understanding of the drug discovery process and the ability to design and implement assays as needed for discovery programs.
The candidate is expected to have strong fundamentals of biochemistry and cell biology and practical experience in cell culture, biochemical assays, and cell based and speciality assays.
The role involves designing screening workflows, including assay development, optimization and validation across different target and therapeutic classes.
The candidate should be experienced with technical platforms such as fluorescence and luminiscence based readouts, flow cytometry, multiplexing assays, TRFRET and thermophoresis.
The role also covers assay miniaturization and high throughput screening, along with endtoend compound management activities.
The candidate will contribute to mechanism of action studies and to data analysis and interpretation to support project decisions
