School Librarian

We are seeking a passionate and organized School Librarian to manage the library operations, support students and faculty with research and reading materials, and cultivate a love for reading and learning among students. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Library Science and a strong commitment to educational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take Library classes
• Manage day-to-day library operations, including cataloging, issuing, and returning of books.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming library environment.
• Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources effectively.
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures.
• Encourage reading habits among students through book displays, reading programs, and library events.
• Maintain accurate library records (inventory, circulation, etc.).
• Evaluate and recommend new books and educational materials..

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Lib / M.Lib degree from a recognized university .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with library management software
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for books, education, and working with children.

Preferred :

• Experience working in a school or educational institution.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
