Role & responsibilities 1. Student Counselling & Emotional Support Provide individual and group counselling to students facing academic, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Address anxiety, stress, peer pressure, bullying, and self-esteem issues among students. Develop intervention plans and coping strategies to improve students' mental well-being. 2. Academic & Career Guidance Assist students in identifying their strengths and interests for subject selection and career planning. Conduct workshops on exam stress management, time management, and study skills. Guide students on higher education options, entrance exams, and scholarship opportunities. 3. Awareness Programs & Workshops Organize life skills, emotional intelligence, and personal development sessions. Conduct workshops on cyber safety, mental health awareness, and social skills development. Engage with parents and teachers to create a supportive learning environment. 4. Collaboration with Teachers & Parents Work closely with teachers to identify and support students with learning difficulties. Conduct parent counseling sessions to discuss students' academic and behavioural progress. Provide guidance to teachers on handling classroom behavioral issues. 5. Conflict Resolution & Student Well-being Address issues related to student conflicts, peer interactions, and classroom discipline. Implement school-wide initiatives for anti-bullying, self-confidence building, and emotional resilience. Maintain confidentiality and ethical practices in counseling sessions.
