SCADA Engineer

You will play a crucial role in designing, programming, and maintaining Rockwell ControlLogix PLCs with redundancy at all levels. Your responsibilities will include implementing and troubleshooting distributed network configurations using Rockwell hardware and software. Additionally, you will develop and manage SCADA systems using FactoryTalk View SE, which involves tasks such as building global object libraries, configuring alarms and events, developing VB scripts for automation, and performing SCADA migrations, integrations, and optimizations to support operational requirements. It will also be your duty to build, maintain, and refresh systems in FactoryTalk Historian, ensuring seamless data collection, storage, and analysis for decision-making purposes. Redundancy at all levels (control, SCADA, and Historian) will be a key focus to maximize system availability and minimize downtime. Your role will involve collaborating with teams to understand system architecture and implement solutions, as well as leading integration with third-party systems using OPC UA Client/Server protocols. You will work closely with OEMs to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance. Furthermore, you will configure and maintain secure industrial networks, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and apply your knowledge of VM and host platforms to manage virtualized environments effectively. As a technical leader, you will provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the team. Conducting training sessions to enhance team skills in automation and Rockwell ecosystem tools will also be part of your responsibilities.,
