About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Satellite Operator to join our dynamic space operations team. In this mission-critical role, you’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring satellite systems to ensure optimal performance and continuous operation. This position is shift-based, supporting round-the-clock satellite functionality and health.

Key Responsibilities:

Satellite Operations & Monitoring

• Operate and monitor satellite and ground systems using specialized software
• Analyze telemetry data to assess satellite health and detect anomalies
• Execute orbital maneuvers, station-keeping, and payload operations
• Prepare and present detailed satellite status reports

Anomaly Resolution

• Rapidly identify and troubleshoot technical issues
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve system anomalies
• Implement contingency procedures to minimize service disruption

Ground Segment Collaboration

• Work closely with ground software teams to support Mission Control systems
• Contribute to automating routine satellite operations
• Assist in optimizing command scheduling and health monitoring

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
• Basic understanding of satellite communication protocols (CCSDS, ITU standards)
• Familiarity with TT&C systems, satellite simulation, and control tools (e.g., STK, GMAT)
• Programming or scripting skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills, especially under time pressure
• Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment
