As a SAS Administrator, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Installation and configuration of various SAS platforms on Windows/Linux server. - Troubleshooting configuration issues that may arise during the installation and configuration of the SAS server. - Performing health checks on SAS servers regularly to ensure system readiness for business users. - Troubleshooting user login issues for SAS client applications and SAS Web Applications. - Renewing SSL certificates as and when required. - Renewing SAS licenses. - Migrating SAS content between TEST/DEV/PROD environments. - Monitoring space on SAS Servers to facilitate smooth batch job execution. - Participating in patching activities and conducting Post Verification Tests (PVT) to validate SAS environment readiness for batch executions. - Setting up ODBC connections for different data stores such as Oracle, Redshift, DB2, etc. - Troubleshooting CLI errors related to libname statements, including SQLPassThru and direct libname statements for respective databases. - Installing HOT FIX when required to resolve SAS issues. - Troubleshooting LAN mounting issues for users and ensuring content from CIFS (Common Internet FileSystem) is accessible for further processing in SAS. - Addressing Proc Export/Import issues raised by users. - Creating third-party libraries using SAS Management Console when necessary. - Establishing multiple SAS Applications servers for performance optimization if needed. Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience as a SAS Administrator. - Proficiency in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of SAS platforms. - Strong knowledge of SSL certificate renewal, SAS license renewal, and content migration. - Experience in monitoring server space, patching activities, and PVT testing. - Familiarity with setting up ODBC connections and troubleshooting CLI errors. - Ability to resolve LAN mounting issues, Proc Export/Import problems, and create third-party libraries. - Experience in creating multiple SAS Applications servers for performance enhancement.
