Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP VCPS (Variant Configuration and Pricing Service) Professional to design, develop, and support product configuration models and pricing logic within SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based VCPS. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC), SAP CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), and cloud integration for complex product and pricing models. This role is key to enabling mass customization, guided selling, and accurate pricing for highly configurable products. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement product models using SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing Service (VCPS). Develop and manage rules for characteristics, dependencies, constraints, and object dependencies in configuration models. Configure pricing logic and integration between VCPS and SAP S/4HANA or SAP CPQ. Collaborate with product management, sales, and engineering teams to translate product rules and pricing requirements into SAP configurations. Integrate VCPS with front-end systems such as SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP CPQ, and other sales channels. Ensure high performance and scalability of configuration models for use in cloud-based sales platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve configuration and pricing issues in coordination with IT and business stakeholders. Support testing, validation, and documentation of new configurations and updates. Stay up to date with SAP updates and enhancements related to VCPS and product configuration capabilities. Provide support and training to business users and implementation teams on VCPS features and best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 37 years of experience with SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC), including product modeling and dependency logic. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based configuration tools (VCPS). Strong knowledge of pricing procedures, condition techniques, and integration with SAP SD. Familiarity with SAP CPQ, SAP Commerce Cloud, or other sales configuration platforms. Proficiency in SAP configuration, object dependencies, and characteristic-based modeling.
