SAP Technical Lead - S4 Hana Migration & Testing

The SAP Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical testing and validation activities during the ECC-to-S/4HANA migration program.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all

  technical aspects of testing

  across SAP modules and interfaces during the migration lifecycle.
• Oversee validation of

  WRICEF components

  (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Review

  migration data mapping, extraction, transformation, and load processes

  , ensuring end-to-end data integrity.
• Support QA teams in defining

  technical test scenarios, data validation rules, and regression automation scope

  .
• Perform

  system integration and technical regression tests

  across S/4HANA and connected systems.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to troubleshoot technical issues identified during testing.
• Coordinate with

  SAP Basis and Infrastructure

  teams to validate system performance, environment readiness, and transports.
• Ensure technical compliance with

  SAP Activate methodology

  and audit standards.
• Support defect triage and root cause analysis for technical and performance-related issues.
• Document technical test outcomes, issues, and resolutions for traceability and audit readiness.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1012 years of SAP technical experience, with at

  least 2 end-to-end migration or upgrade projects (preferably ECC to S/4HANA)

  .
• Strong proficiency in

  ABAP, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, and integration middleware (PI/PO or CPI).

• Working knowledge of

  SAP Data Services (BODS) and data validation for migration testing

  .
• Deep understanding of WRICEF development lifecycle and related testing activities.
• Experience in

  SAP performance and integration testing

  (preferably with tools like SAP TAO, Tricentis, or equivalent).
• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager / CALM for change and test management.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities with multi-vendor and business teams.
