Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to analyze business and technical needs and translate processes into practical solutions using current Information Technology toolsets. You will implement new solutions through configuration and the creation of functional specifications, facilitating solution realization. Additionally, you will conduct full integration testing of new or changed business/technical processes, develop business/technical cycle tests for use by stakeholders, and document all process changes while sharing relevant knowledge with stakeholders. In cases of troubleshooting, investigating, and persisting in finding solutions to problems with unknown causes, you will apply logic, inference, creativity, and initiative. Providing cross-functional support and maintenance for the responsible business/technical areas will also be part of your responsibilities. You will also conduct cost/benefit analyses by evaluating alternative design approaches to determine the best-balanced solution, satisfying immediate stakeholder needs, meeting system requirements, and facilitating subsequent change. Furthermore, you will assume a leadership role in small initiatives, playing the key contributor, facilitator, or group lead. Qualifications: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or have 9 years of IT experience if lacking a degree. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in SAP Transportation Management. - Possess techno-functional knowledge of SAP IT applications in the relevant business area. - Ability to understand business processes and needs, delivering prompt, efficient, and high-quality service to the business. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English. - Solid solution design capabilities across functions and applications. - Willingness to work flexible hours as required for special occasions.
