Job Description

SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Work on SAP PP module configuration, implementation, and support.
Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP PP processes.
Handle Production Planning (Discrete, Process, and Repetitive Manufacturing).
Perform master data management Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers.
Configure MRP, Demand Management, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
Provide support for day-to-day SAP PP issues and enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, WM, FICO) for seamless process integration.
Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
Conduct end-user training and support UAT.

Required Skills & Experience:

6 years of experience in
SAP PP module
.
Strong knowledge of
PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries)
and Discrete Manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in
MRP, Planning Strategies, Capacity Planning
.
Integration knowledge with
MM, SD, QM, WM, FICO
.
Experience in
S/4 HANA
environment is preferred.
Good understanding of business processes and best practices in production planning.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

SAP PP certification.
Exposure to SAP APO/IBP.
Knowledge of ABAP debugging (basic).

Education:

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
