SAP MM S/4 HANA Consultant

Division

Reports to

1. Candidate would be a part of the Group IT team and report to MM Module lead.
2. Candidate would be responsible for developing and getting implemented the IT strategy for Material Management area across JSW Group (comprising businesses like Steel, Energy, Cement, Infrastructure, Paints, Mines & Ports)
3. Able to collaborate with the business and lead various IT initiatives in the Material Management areas
4. Able to drive SAP MM-IT programs (with an existing foundation of SAP) independently with very little supervision
5. Strong communication skills with ability to convince various levels of management about the Material Management-IT strategy
6. Able to conduct or participate in requirement gathering, blueprinting and design documentation.
7. This position would be based in Vijayanagar, but the candidate should be willing to travel as & when required across the JSW group locations.

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)

• Minimum 6-8 years of SAP MM experience, with at least 2 years specifically on SAP S/4 HANA.
• Proven track record of managing full lifecycle SAP MM projects (implementation, upgrade, support).
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, warehouse and ARIBA processes.
• Must have worked on at least 1 full life-cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementations within India.
• Should have functional experience in Process Industry (Metal/Steel preferred).
• Experience with integration between SAP MM and other modules like SD, PP, QM, FI and FM.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and agile project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex SAP scenarios.
• SAP certification in S/4 HANA is a plus.
