SAP MM (Material Management)

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP MM Responsibilities

• Configure SAP MM sub-modules:

  Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, LIV (Invoice Verification)

  .
• Support end-to-end procurement cycle:

  PR PO GRN Invoice

  .
• Define pricing procedures, release strategies, stock transfers, subcontracting, and service procurement.
  
• Coordinate with users to gather requirements and design MM solutions.
  
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, forms (BADI, BAPI, IDoc).
  

2. SAP FICO Responsibilities

• Configure

  GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting

  in FI.
• Configure CO processes:

  Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA

  .
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  
• Manage master data for finance modules:

  COA, Vendor, Customer, Asset Master, Cost Centers

  .
• Configure automatic payment programs, dunning, and bank reconciliation.
  

3. Cross-Module Integration

• Manage integration between

  MMFICO

  ,

  SD–FICO

  , and

  MM–PP

  modules.
• Handle material valuation, account determination (OBYC), and tax configurations (GST).
  
• Ensure seamless flow between procurement and financial accounting.
  

4. Testing & Support

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
  
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
  
• Support users with day-to-day transactions and process improvements.
  

5. Documentation & Training

• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, and SOPs.
  
• Conduct end-user training for MM and FICO modules.
  
• Assist in pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on knowledge of

  SAP MM & SAP FICO configuration

  .
• Experience in

  S/4HANA

  environment (preferred).
• Strong understanding of taxation (GST), financial reporting, procurement, and costing processes.
  
• Ability to write functional specs for ABAP development.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Commerce / Finance.
  
• SAP MM & FICO certification .
