SAP MDM Analyst (Remote, Contract, US Time)

Job Summary:

The SAP MDM Analyst will support end-to-end data migration activities for our SAP

implementation and transformation projects. This role involves extracting, transforming,

validating, and loading data (ETL) from existing systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data

integrity and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or assist in the planning, execution, and validation of data migration efforts

from legacy systems to SAP.

• Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand data requirements

and define mapping rules.

• Extract data from various sources (legacy systems, databases, spreadsheets) using

appropriate tools.

• Cleanse and transform data based on defined mapping and business rules.
• Load data into SAP using tools such as LSMW, BAPIs, IDOCs, or SAP Data Services.
• Perform rigorous data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and

completeness.

• Troubleshoot data load errors and work with technical teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data migration procedures, mapping

documents, and reconciliation reports.

• Support mock migrations, cutover planning, and go-live activities.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP data migration projects (ECC or

S/4HANA).

• Ready for contract role to work between 3.30 PM to 12.30 PM IST
• Proficiency with SAP data migration tools such as LSMW, BODS (SAP Data

Services), BAPIs, or IDOCs.

• Strong knowledge of master data (customer, vendor, material) and transactional

data (sales, purchase, financial).

• Experience with data analysis, profiling, and cleansing techniques.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data quality concepts.

Qualifications Preferred:

• Experience with large-scale SAP implementations or global rollouts.
• Familiarity with agile project methodologies.
• Experience using SQL, Excel, or scripting for data extraction and transformation.
• SAP certification is a plus.
