SAP MDG Technical Developer

Job Description

Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant with 6+ years of proven expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) as a Technical Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of SAP MDG solutions. This role requires a strong technical background in ABAP development, data modeling, workflow configuration, and a deep understanding of master data management principles. The consultant will work in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with on-site collaboration. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG solutions, including data modeling, UI customization, workflow configuration, and data replication. - Perform ABAP development for SAP MDG customizations, enhancements, and integrations. - Configure and customize SAP MDG standard functionalities to meet specific business requirements. - Develop and maintain data quality rules and validations within SAP MDG. - Design and implement data replication processes between SAP MDG and other systems. - Create technical specifications and documentation for SAP MDG solutions. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP MDG issues. - Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. - Stay current with SAP MDG best practices, new functionalities, and technological advancements. Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MDG Technical Developer. - Strong ABAP development skills, including experience with ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, and BADIs/User Exits. - Solid understanding of SAP MDG data modeling concepts and configuration. - Experience in configuring and customizing SAP MDG workflows. - Proficiency in SQL and database concepts. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment. Preferred Skills : - Experience with SAP MDG implementations in S/4HANA. - Knowledge of SAP MDG integration technologies (e.g., ALE, IDoc, Web Services). - Experience with data quality tools and techniques. - Familiarity with Agile project methodologies. - Experience with UI5 or other web-based UI development technologies.
