Job Description

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into SAP solutions.
  • Configure, customize, and maintain SAP Logistics Execution (LE) modules, including but not limited to, Warehouse Management (WM), Transportation (TR).
  • Design, configure and maintain integration with other modules like GTS, FI, SD, MM, APO, and PP.
  • Provide expertise in SAP best practices and advise on system optimizations and enhancements.
  • Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation projects, including Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy and Run.
  • Work with other functional leads in the IT team to ensure that the functional design and configuration in the areas of SAP Deliver align with SAP best practices.
  • Perform system integration activities, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
  • Conduct thorough testing of configured solutions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP Deliver area and integrations.
  • Provide user training and support during project implementations and post-go-live phases.
  • Stay updated on SAP trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve processes and systems.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience as an SAP Deliver Functional Analyst, with a focus on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP upgrade and S/4HANA implementation.
  • Experience with Global rollouts.
  • Strong virtual communication skills, capable of interacting across all levels of Business and IT organizations.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with trade compliance and customs management processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Prior Pharma and/or Medical Device experience is desired.
  • Familiarization with automation tools and Robotic Processing (RPA).
