As an Application Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for providing support and monitoring managed services for clients" Packaged Application technologies such as ERP, Middleware, and other business critical software environments. Your role involves proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving Application-based incidents, service requests, and alerts to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions. Focusing on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests, you will ensure the smooth operation and optimization of clients" Application infrastructure and services. Additionally, you may contribute to or support project work as required. Key Responsibilities: - Implementing and maintaining multiple SAP instances including development, test, training, and production environments. - Executing Migrations, Upgrades, Builds, and Rollouts of all SAP components. - Introducing technical changes into the environment in a structured approach to minimize risk and achieve high reliability, availability, and performance. - Designing and implementing an optimal SAP configuration for maximizing system performance and availability. - Installing and configuring required SAP databases including MSSQL/HANA/MAXDB and Oracle servers. - Managing SAP users, authorizations, and profiles. - Configuring and managing the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances. - Maintaining SAP performance through planning and executing tuning strategies. - Monitoring all SAP systems, including work processes, users, system logs, disk space, etc. - Administering the SAP database with Database Administrator for upgrades, maintenance, security, performance, backup, and restore strategies. - Performing SAP client administration tasks as required. - Participating in SAP system upgrades planning and implementation. - Applying and migrating SAP maintenance through all systems using a structured methodology. - Developing and maintaining system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.
