SAP IBP Demand Lead

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) implementation for demand management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure demand forecasts align with business goals.
• Conduct demand planning meetings to evaluate and adjust forecasts as needed.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to build accurate demand forecasts.
• Utilize SAP IBP tools to enhance forecast accuracy and streamline planning processes.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the demand planning cycle.
• Implement and maintain industry best practices in demand planning.
• Design and execute effective and scalable demand planning strategies.
• Mentor and train junior team members in demand planning methodologies.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities across forecasting and planning functions.
• Communicate demand assumptions, changes, and updates to key stakeholders.
• Facilitate scenario planning to evaluate business impact under different assumptions.
• Support the creation and tracking of KPIs related to demand planning performance.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Participate in executive reviews to present demand planning insights and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in demand planning or a related area.
• In-depth expertise in SAP IBP and demand forecasting.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end demand planning initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Skilled in data analysis tools and techniques to interpret trends and patterns.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• High attention to detail and a strong data-driven mindset.
• Experience with change management and process improvement.
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Prior consulting experience or working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
