SAP IBP Consultant

Position: SAP IBP Functional Consultant

Experience: 510 years (minimum 3+ years in SAP IBP)

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Consultant with strong expertise in Supply Chain Planning processes and hands-on implementation experience in SAP IBP modules. The ideal candidate should have worked on at least one full-cycle IBP implementation and be able to collaborate with business users, analyze requirements, design solutions, and support ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support end-to-end implementation of SAP IBP modules such as:

IBP for Demand

IBP for Supply

IBP for Inventory

IBP S&OP

IBP Control Tower

Conduct workshops to gather and analyse business requirements for demand, supply, and inventory planning processes

Configure SAP IBP, including:

Master data set-up

Key figure modelling

Planning views

Forecast models

Integration with SAP ECC/S4 via CPI-DS or CI-DS

Support data integration activities including data mapping, data validation, and troubleshooting.

Perform system testing (SIT/UAT) and prepare relevant documentation.

Provide hypercare support post-go-live.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, and Sales.

Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments.

Train business users and prepare training materials.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong functional knowledge in Supply Chain Planning domains.

Hands-on experience in at least 2 SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, Response & Supply, Control Tower).

Experience in:

Time series analysis and forecasting models

Demand sensing (preferred)

Supply planning heuristics and optimizers

Good understanding of integration between IBP and S/4HANA/ECC using CPI-DS/CI-DS.

Ability to interpret planning data, analytics, and troubleshoot planning issues.

Strong communication and client interaction skills.

Ability to lead design workshops and deliver clear documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP IBP certification.

Experience with S&OP cycle design and execution.

Experience in multi-country or global supply chain environments.

Knowledge of SAP APO (DP/SNP/PPDS) is a plus.
