SAP HCM Payroll Developer

As an Application Developer with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the effective development and implementation of applications to support the organization's goals and objectives. Collaboration with the team, analysis of business requirements, design of application solutions, coding, testing applications, and providing technical support to resolve issues are key aspects of your daily tasks. You are expected to be a subject matter expert (SME) who collaborates and manages the team to perform efficiently. As a team decision-maker, you will engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide problem-solving solutions for immediate and cross-team challenges. Your role also involves designing and developing high-quality software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, writing clean and efficient code, performing unit testing and debugging, and ensuring software functionality and quality. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback to team members, troubleshoot and resolve software defects, and stay updated with industry trends in software development. Your duties will extend to assisting in the deployment and maintenance of applications, providing technical support and guidance to end-users, and documenting software specifications, user manuals, and technical guides. Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies is a must-have skill for this role, while experience with SAP Success Factors and a solid grasp of data management and data migration concepts are considered good-to-have skills.
