SAP HANA FINANCE - Process Automation

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for technical process improvements and automation across Finance and SAP systems.
• Analyse existing workflows and SAP processes to identify inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate) and/or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, IT, Business Teams, Leadership) to gather requirements, present solutions, and manage project delivery.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on automation technologies, SAP process improvements, and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for automated processes, SAP workflows, and related business solutions.
• Provide end-user training and support on new automation tools and optimized SAP processes.
• Ensure that all solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in SAP, automation, and process optimization to introduce innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 9–12 years of experience in SAP, Finance systems, and process improvement with a proven track record of successful automation and system transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Finance principles and processes; prior experience in Finance/FinTech environments is a plus.
• Hands-on expertise in Business Process Automation (BPA) and technical process improvements.
• Proficiency in one or more automation technologies (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate) or programming/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL).
• Strong background in data analysis and visualization to identify trends and track automation impact.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance modules and integration with automation platforms.
• Experience in digital finance transformation or ERP automation initiatives.
• Knowledge of workflow management tools and end-to-end process mapping.
