SAP HANA Cloud Integration Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Integration Solution Design:

  Analyze business requirements and design scalable, secure, and efficient integration solutions leveraging

  SAP Cloud Integration (CPI/HCI)

  for connecting SAP and non-SAP systems, both on-premise and in the cloud.

• iFlow Development:

  Develop and configure integration flows (iFlows) in SAP Cloud Integration using various adapters (e.g., SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, AMQP, IDoc, RFC), mappings (graphical, XSLT), and scripting (Groovy, JavaScript).

• API Management:

  Work with API management concepts, potentially including SAP API Management, ensuring secure exposure and consumption of APIs for integration scenarios.

• Troubleshooting & Monitoring:

  Monitor integration landscapes, identify and troubleshoot complex integration issues, and optimize iFlow performance. Utilize CPI monitoring tools and dashboards.

• Security Configuration:

  Implement and manage security configurations for integration scenarios, including certificates, authentication mechanisms, and message-level security in CPI.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for integration designs, iFlows, mappings, and configuration settings.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with functional consultants, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand integration needs and ensure seamless data exchange.

• Best Practices:

  Adhere to SAP integration best practices and guidelines for development, security, and performance. Stay updated with the latest SAP cloud integration features and releases.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• SAP Cloud Integration Expertise:

  Strong hands-on experience in developing and implementing integration solutions using

  SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)

  , previously known as SAP HANA Cloud Integration (HCI).

• Integration Concepts:

  Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, web services (SOAP, REST), APIs, and data formats (XML, JSON).

• SAP ECC/S/4HANA Integration:

  Familiarity with integrating SAP CPI with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, including knowledge of IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.

• Scripting:

  Proficiency in

  Groovy Scripting

  or

  JavaScript

  for custom logic within iFlows.

• Problem-Solving:

  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving complex integration challenges.

• Communication:

  Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline. Relevant SAP integration certifications are a plus.
