SAP HA/DR Specialist

As a SAP HA/DR Specialist, your role involves implementing and maintaining robust resiliency solutions for SAP landscapes. You will focus on defining and overseeing HA/DR strategies for critical SAP workloads on-premises and on GCP. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement SAP HANA and application HA/DR strategies. - Validate and test failover scenarios and recovery procedures. - Collaborate with infrastructure and SAP Basis teams to maintain uptime SLAs. - Support clustering, replication, and backup/restore for SAP components. To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience with HANA System Replication (HSR) and clustering, a strong understanding of SAP HA/DR frameworks and tools, and knowledge of GCP HA/DR implementations for SAP workloads. Preferred skills include experience with Pacemaker, SUSE HAE, or Red Hat clustering tools, and familiarity with hybrid disaster recovery models. Apart from technical expertise, soft skills such as strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities, reliability, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset are crucial for success in this position.
