SAP HA/DR Specialist

As a SAP HA/DR Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust resiliency solutions for SAP landscapes. Your main focus will be defining and overseeing HA/DR strategies for critical SAP workloads deployed both on-premises and on GCP. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing SAP HANA and application HA/DR strategies, validating and testing failover scenarios and recovery procedures, collaborating with infrastructure and SAP Basis teams to maintain uptime SLAs, and supporting clustering, replication, and backup/restore for SAP components. To excel in this role, you must possess hands-on experience with HANA System Replication (HSR) and clustering, a strong understanding of SAP HA/DR frameworks and tools, and knowledge of GCP HA/DR implementations for SAP workloads. Preferred skills include experience with Pacemaker, SUSE HAE, or Red Hat clustering tools, and familiarity with hybrid disaster recovery models. In addition to technical expertise, soft skills such as strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities, reliability, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset are crucial for success in this position.
