SAP GTS Functional Consultant

We are currently seeking a SAP GTS Functional Consultant to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (IN-TN), India. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant SAP GTS experience and hands-on experience in implementing at least 1-2 full cycle SAP implementation projects. Proven experience in SAP GTS service upgrade projects is also required. Responsibilities: - Understand business requirements and design a feasible technical solution that addresses the current business needs without impacting future upgrades. - Gather application-specific project requirements and participate in pre-project launch discussions with architects. - Collaborate on project design, facilitate design reviews and discussions, and provide required specifications. - Drive superior quality in technical deliverables, reduce design or development defects, and ensure comprehensive System Integration Testing. - Strong business process knowledge and association of processes to technical areas in SAP GTS is essential. - Hands-on experience on configuration settings in Feeder system (ECC/S4) like document types and master data is required. - Basic ABAP debugging skills are necessary. - Ability to interact with developers and communicate requirements effectively. - Exposure to IDOCs, monitoring, understanding, and resolving IDOC related issues. - Skilled in the preparation of Test Scripts. - Exposure in Jobs (monitoring), understanding the purpose of a particular job, and resolving issues related to Jobs. - Successful track record and accountability for on-time delivery of project deliverables.
