The Fieldglass Techno-Functional Professional plays a crucial role in the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the SAP Fieldglass Vendor Management System (VMS). This role involves a blend of technical and functional expertise to ensure the successful deployment and operation of the VMS platform, meeting the organization's workforce management and procurement needs. The responsibilities of this role include working with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system configuration, integrations, and data interfaces. Monitoring system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement, and staying up to date with the latest updates and features of SAP Fieldglass and related technologies are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the Fieldglass Techno-Functional Professional must understand the organization's vendor management and contingent workforce processes and translate them into system configurations. Providing subject matter expertise on SAP Fieldglass functionalities and best practices, defining and optimizing business processes related to vendor management and contingent workforce management are integral to the position. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions aligning with business needs, and configuring/customizing the SAP Fieldglass system based on client requirements are vital tasks. Integration of SAP Fieldglass with other systems, such as HRIS and ERP, to streamline data flows and processes is also a significant responsibility. Supporting end-users through user guides, documentation, and training sessions to educate them on system functionalities, best practices, and new features is essential. Generating and customizing reports to meet reporting and analytics requirements are also part of the role. Participation in project planning, scope definition, and timeline management, collaborating with project managers to ensure timely delivery of Fieldglass-related initiatives, and identifying opportunities for system and process improvements are key responsibilities.
