Job Description

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP FICO modules. Your responsibilities will include performing functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing, as well as validating configurations and customizations in SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, etc.). You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar, and providing support for data validation and reconciliation during testing cycles. Participation in cutover and post-go-live support testing will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP FICO modules. - Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. - Validate configurations and customizations in SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, etc.). - Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. - Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar. - Support data validation and reconciliation during testing cycles. - Participate in cutover and post-go-live support testing. Qualifications Required: - Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca). - Basic knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environment. - Familiarity with API testing and interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs). - Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile projects. - Strong communication and documentation skills.
