SAP-FICO (Consultant)

You will be working with BDO India Services Private Limited, the India member firm of BDO International, which offers strategic, operational, accounting, tax & regulatory advisory and assistance for both domestic and international organisations across various industries. Led by more than 300 Partners & Directors with a team of over 8500 professionals operating across 12 cities in India, BDO India prides itself on a client-centric and knowledge-driven work culture. In the Digital Transformation Practice, your role will involve providing clients with practical advice on leveraging technology to drive business growth. You will take a holistic view of their business and processes, guiding them towards the best investments and transformations for continual optimization. Implementation will require deep dives into the clients" context, addressing complex problems and aiding the organization's evolution. **Role Overview:** - Manage various SAP projects within the manufacturing sector to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. - Handle day-to-day support tickets in AP, AR, GL, Cost Center Accounting, and Asset Accounting. - Understand manufacturing-specific financial processes such as R&D cost tracking, capex, and inventory valuation. - Support month-end and year-end closings, including reconciliations and financial reporting. - Identify and implement small enhancements or configuration changes as needed. - Coordinate with business teams to resolve functional issues and recommend process improvements. - Knowledge of pharma costing (Standard vs Actual), intercompany billing, and GST handling. - Familiarity with SAP tables and basic debugging for issue analysis. - Experience in India localization and statutory compliance. **Qualifications Required:** - 4+ years of experience in SAP. - Can be from any background - engineering / IT / MBA / CA etc. You will be based in Mumbai and might be required to travel to client sites within Mumbai and occasionally outside. Your focus will be on SAP AMS, FICO, and Digital Transformation projects.,
