SAP FI Specialist

As an experienced IT Finance professional with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing SAP FI-GL, FI-AA, SAP RE-FX, and SAP closing processes to ensure seamless business operations. Your role will involve owning the technical aspects of these applications, ensuring system integrity, and acting as the primary point of contact for resolving complex SAP FI issues. Collaboration with other IT finance experts will be a key part of your job, as you will work closely to analyze business and functional requirements, propose solutions for finance processes, and translate business needs into system requirements. You will also be tasked with identifying opportunities for process improvements within the SAP FI landscape. Your expertise will be crucial in the ongoing ERP Rebuild project, specifically the S/4HANA transformation project, where you will ensure the seamless integration of new systems into daily financial operations. Additionally, you may participate as a project member or Project Manager in various SAP FI projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations. Data integrity and system security will be paramount in your role, and you will be expected to adhere to Syensqo IT policies and standards, with a particular focus on Cybersecurity compliance and thorough documentation practices. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT finance roles and at least 5 years of demonstrable experience supporting SAP FI-GL and FI-AA. Knowledge of SAP RE-FX and SAP FCC is considered a plus, and familiarity with SAP ECC/S4 finance modules will be beneficial in this position.,
