Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage SAP EWM implementation projects from blueprinting to go-live and post-go-live support.
- Analyze complex warehouse operational processes and translate them into efficient and effective SAP EWM solutions.
- Perform detailed configuration and customization of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and activity areas.
- Design and configure inbound processes (e.g., goods receipt, putaway), outbound processes (e.g., picking, packing, shipping), and internal warehouse processes (e.g., replenishment, internal movements).
- Manage and configure the SAP EWM Radio Frequency (RF) Framework for optimized warehouse execution.
- Implement and configure SAP EWM Yard Management to control and monitor the movement of vehicles and goods within the yard.
- Develop custom SAP Post Processing Framework (PPF) actions for automated follow-up processes within EWM.
- Design and implement seamless integration between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA for master data, transactional data, and process synchronization.
- Configure integration between SAP EWM and SAP Transportation Management (TM) for transportation planning and execution.
- Develop and manage interfaces with third-party warehouse automation systems (e.g., conveyors, automated storage and retrieval systems) using SAP PI/PO or other integration
technologies.
- Configure and implement advanced EWM functionalities such as Wave Management, Slotting,
Replenishment, and Labor Management.
- Work with various communication protocols and data exchange formats like IDOCs and BAPIs for system integration.
- Develop and customize SAP Fiori-based user interfaces for EWM functionalities.
- Perform thorough testing of SAP EWM configurations and customizations, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide guidance to end-users during the testing
phase.
- Provide comprehensive post-go-live support and resolve any issues related to SAP EWM.
- Create detailed functional and technical documentation, including business blueprints,
configuration guides, and test scripts.
- Conduct effective training sessions for end-users on SAP EWM functionalities and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior SAP EWM consultants within the team, fostering their technical and
functional growth.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels, including business users, IT teams, and project managers.
- Utilize SAP ABAP debugging skills to analyze and resolve technical issues within the EWM system.
- Implement and manage functionalities like Serial Number Management within SAP EWM.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP EWM releases, features, and industry best practices.
Technical Skills :
- SAP EWM Expertise : Deep understanding and hands-on experience in configuring and implementing SAP EWM 9.5 or S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
- Warehouse Process Configuration : Proven ability to configure and customize inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes in SAP EWM.
- RF Framework : Strong experience in managing and configuring the SAP EWM RF Framework for mobile data entry.
- SAP TM Integration : Experience in integrating SAP EWM with SAP Transportation Management (TM).
- SAP PI/PO : Hands-on experience with SAP Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration
(PO) for system integration.
- ABAP Debugging : Proficiency in SAP ABAP debugging for troubleshooting and analysis.
- IDOCs and BAPIs : Experience in working with IDOCs and BAPIs for data exchange and integration.
- SAP PPF : Experience in developing and configuring SAP Post Processing Framework (PPF) actions in EWM.
- Yard Management (Yard Logistics) : Experience in configuring and implementing SAP EWM Yard Management.
- Wave Management : Solid understanding and configuration experience of Wave Management in SAP EWM.
- Slotting and Replenishment : Experience in configuring and implementing Slotting and Replenishment strategies in EWM.
- Labor Management (Optional) : Experience with SAP EWM Labor Management is a plus.
- Serial Number Management : Experience in implementing and managing Serial Number Management in EWM.
- SAP Fiori : Familiarity with SAP Fiori and its application in SAP EWM.
- Database Knowledge : Basic understanding of underlying database concepts relevant to SAP EWM.
Functional Skills :
- Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse management processes and best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.
- Excellent understanding of integration points between SAP EWM and other SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, TM).
- Proven ability to conduct workshops and gather requirements from business users.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and design documents.
- Strong testing and documentation skills.
- Experience in user training and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP EWM architecture and functionalities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
