Job Title: SAP ECC Technical BW Support Consultant

Location: Remote

Type: FTE with K2 Partnering Solutions

Timings: 5:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC Technical BW Consultant to provide production support, performance tuning, and enhancement delivery for our North America operations. The consultant will work remotely from India, aligned to U.S. Eastern Time business hours, and ensure stability and reliability across the SAP BW environment integrated with ECC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP BW 7.x systems integrated with ECC.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Support data modeling, InfoProviders, DSO, InfoCubes, and queries.

• Monitor process chains, optimize performance, and manage data loads.

• Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams (FI/CO, SD, MM, etc.) to validate data and reporting outputs.

• Develop or modify BW objects and reports based on user requirements.

• Participate in incident management, change requests, and performance tuning activities.

• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to the onshore and offshore teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of SAP BW experience, including ECC data extraction and modeling.

• Strong knowledge of BW DataSources, InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DSOs, Process Chains, and BEx queries.

• Experience with ABAP debugging related to BW data flows.

• Solid understanding of ECC source systems (FI/CO, MM, SD) and data integration.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during EST hours.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to BW on HANA or BW/4HANA environments.

• Prior experience supporting North American clients or global operations.

• Experience with reporting tools such as Analysis for Office, BOBJ, or Power BI integration.
