Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Strategy:
Develop comprehensive cutover plans, timelines, and release strategies, including mock cutovers and rehearsals, for large-scale SAP rollouts.
Coordination:
Act as the central point of contact, leading cross-functional teams (functional, technical, business) and managing dependencies across multiple workstreams (Finance, SCM, HCM).
Execution:
Oversee the minute-by-minute execution during the go-live period, often from a command center (war room).
Data & Technical:
Manage data migration, validation, technical cutover tasks, and transport management, ensuring system readiness.
Risk & Issues:
Identify, log, track, and escalate issues, managing risks to minimize disruption.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to project leadership and senior stakeholders.
Stabilization:
Plan and manage the hypercare period post-go-live.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Experience:
8-10+ years in SAP, with several years specifically in cutover management for major SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors) implementations.
Methodologies:
Experience with SAP Activate, Agile, or hybrid project approaches.
Technical:
Deep knowledge of core SAP modules, data migration principles, and system integration.
Soft Skills:
Proven leadership, communication, problem-solving, and ability to work under intense pressure across time zones.
Tools:
Proficiency with project planning tools (MS Project, etc.).
