SAP Commerce Cloud developer (Hybris)

You will be working at GMB Digital, where our focus is on assisting clients in implementing SAP e-commerce solutions to address their business problems. With a commitment to excellence, we utilize our knowledge and skills to cater to the diverse needs of businesses across various industries. As a SAP Commerce Cloud developer (Hybris) at GMB Digital, you will be undertaking an initial 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension up to 2 years based on performance. Your responsibilities will revolve around day-to-day tasks related to software development, specifically in the realm of SAP Commerce Cloud. Your role will require expertise in SAP Hybris e-commerce platform encompassing B2C and B2B platforms, customization of Hybris based e-commerce Applications, Hybris CMS, and e-commerce suite. You should have a strong grasp of the entire eCommerce development process and be adept at leading design, development, documentation, and implementation using SAP Commerce to meet project objectives within specified time frames and defined requirements. You will serve as a knowledge expert in sourcing intricate solution architecture information in Hybris, addressing issues related to globalization and localization. Your tasks will also involve preparing design diagrams, test/debug programs, and perform solution configuration by leveraging an understanding of business processes, industry trends, and systems architecture. A key aspect of your role will be designing and developing high-quality backend and frontend code that aligns with business objectives, quality standards, and secure web development guidelines. You will need to exhibit strong testing and debugging skills across various levels such as unit, system, integration, and performance testing. Additionally, your ability to effectively perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve issues and defects in the production system will be crucial. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing support functions including project milestones, collaborating closely with Development, QA, Release Management, Operations, and end-users. Your adaptability to new environments, applications, and methodologies, along with a proactive approach to finding more effective ways to accomplish tasks, will be essential in this role.,
