Role & responsibilities

SAP CO Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP CO module implementation, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Work closely with finance and controlling business stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
• Design, configure, and support functionalities within SAP CO including:
• Cost Element Accounting
• Cost Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Profit Center Accounting
• Product Costing
• COPA (Profitability Analysis)
• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP CO in cross-functional project teams.
• Manage and coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and external consultants.
• Ensure proper documentation of solutions and configurations.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement for the CO module.
• Collaborate with the SAP FI, MM, SD, and PP teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Provide training to end users and support teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of

  8+ years of SAP CO

  experience, with at least

  2 full lifecycle implementations

  in a lead role.
• Strong understanding of financial controlling principles and business processes.
• Experience with integration between SAP CO and other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, PP).
• Hands-on configuration experience in key CO sub-modules.
• Experience with S/4HANA is

  highly preferred

  .
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP certification in CO is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in S/4HANA Central Finance environments.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori and modern UI tools.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like SAP BW/4HANA or SAC.
• Experience in Agile or Hybrid project methodologies.
