POSITION: Sr Consultant SAP CO

LOCATION: Pune

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

• We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Functional Consultant with deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and supporting SAP CO (Controlling) module, with the ability to lead system improvements and troubleshoot complex issues. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills, able to work collaboratively to optimize business processes across the organization

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Transferring business processes from the outdated ECC CO module to the next level by using S/4 fancy key features and functions, as part of the Greenfield S/4 project

• Enriching our S/4 template with optimal CO processes like Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Internal Orders, and COPA (Profitability Analysis) according to best practices and considering high volume and challenging mass production environment

• Leading workshops with business stakeholders to achieve a holistic and best practice solution

• Becoming business partner to the controlling force, constantly driving improvement and innovation

• Leading the creation of our demand specification, customizing, testing and go-live. Supporting knowledge transfer to group wide key users

• Create and maintain business process documentation by using related tools, Visio etc.

• Sketch and coordinate interfaces to external systems and databases

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to users post-implementation

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during and after the implementation.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• 8-10 years of experience in SAP CO with at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA

• In-depth knowledge of SAP CO module, including configuration, master data, and system integration

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in implementation and upgrade projects

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex processes and design effective solutions

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with stakeholders at all levels

• Proven experience in project management, capable of handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing priorities effectively

• SAC know how is plus, Consolidation knows how with SAP tools is a plus

• Experience to manage externals

• Experience in manufacturing will be an advantage

EDUCATION:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in commerce or technical education

• SAP certification in CO in ECC or S/4HANA is highly desirable
