SAP CAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP CAP Developer with deep expertise in the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills across SAP CAP, front-end development with Fiori, and cloud-native application deployment on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Key Skills & Responsibilities: SAP CAP Framework: Deep understanding of the CAP model, including Core Data Services (CDS) , Node.js , and OData services . Programming Languages: Expertise in JavaScript , TypeScript , and SQL . Knowledge of Java Spring Boot is a plus. Front-end Development: Good knowledge of Fiori development best practices and guidelines, including standard floor plans and freestyle Fiori apps. Databases: Experience working with SAP HANA Cloud , PostgreSQL , and SQLite databases. SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP): Familiarity with BTP services such as authentication , authorization , and integration . Experience with SAP Build Code , SAP Build WorkZone , and SAP Build Process Automation (workflows with email outputs). Runtime Environments: Hands-on experience deploying applications on Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtimes . Testing: Proficiency in unit testing , integration testing , performance testing , and API testing (using Postman). Cloud Development & DevOps: Skills in deploying and managing applications using SAP BTP CI/CD , GitHub , ESLint , SonarQube , configuration profiles, etc. Understanding of non-functional requirements including performance , availability , scalability , resiliency , and observability . Exposure to monitoring with BTP and third-party tools. Integration: Ability to design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs and handle events using CAP messaging and event handling. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to debug and optimize applications, data models, and queries. AI (Nice to Have): Knowledge of SAP AI Core and Joule capabilities.
