Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with a focus on SAP HANA native modeling and proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing and modeling principles and be eager to work with emerging technologies like Databricks and DBT Core . Key Responsibilities : Data Engineering : Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using tools like Databricks and DBT Core . SAP HANA Modeling : Work on SAP HANA native modeling , leveraging your expertise to design efficient data models that support business needs. SQL Development : Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Data Warehousing : Apply data warehousing principles to design scalable and high-performance solutions. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of data solutions with other systems. Problem-Solving : Analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring the integrity and performance of data models and pipelines. Learning and Innovation : Keep up with emerging tools and technologies (e.g., Databricks , DBT , and AWS ) and apply them to optimize processes. Required Skills : Extensive experience in SAP HANA native modeling to build efficient data models and optimize database performance. Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and reporting . Strong foundation in data warehousing and modeling principles . Experience with Databricks and DBT Core for developing and managing data pipelines. Familiarity with Python coding for data manipulation or automation tasks is an advantage. Desired/Secondary Skills : Eagerness to learn new technologies such as Databricks , DBT , and AWS to drive future data engineering initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and optimize data solutions. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
