SAP Business Analyst - SAP FICO

Role Overview: As a SAP Business Analyst specializing in SAP FICO at BMW Techworks, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in SAP ECC to contribute to end-to-end implementation, support, and enhancement projects. Your role will involve deep functional knowledge in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with a focus on Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance, and Logistics. Additionally, you will be expected to utilize Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence to deliver effective solutions. Exposure to S/4HANA is a plus for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and deliver SAP FICO solutions across different ECC projects, including implementation, rollout, and support. - Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and design efficient solutions within ECC. - Configure and maintain core FI modules such as GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, and Taxation. - Configure CO modules including Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Centre Accounting, and COPA. - Implement localization for various geographies, e.g., GST, VAT, etc. - Utilize extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP SD, Finance, and Logistics modules. - Apply SAP Fiori design principles and user experience best practices. - Demonstrate proficiency in data migration tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPI. - Work with interfaces including IDOCs, EDI, and third-party systems. - Translate business requirements into functional specifications and designs. - Collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams to drive project success. - Utilize problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills effectively. - Conduct strong documentation and process improvement activities. - Engage in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. - Utilize Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation purposes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 9+ years of experience as a SAP Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in FICO and SD. - Hands-on configuration experience in core FI and CO sub-modules. - Strong understanding of SAP Fiori design principles and user experience best practices. - Proficiency in using Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation. - Technical skills in SAP FI/CO, IDOC, EDI, LSMW. - Experience with ticketing and change management in JIRA. - Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Web IDE. - Certifications in SAP Fiori, SAP SD, SAP Finance, SAP Logistics, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
