SAP BTP Architect & Technical Expert

Role & responsibilities

SAP BTP Architect and Technical Expert Admin (S/4HANA)

• Lead the

  architecture, design, and deployment

   of SAP BTP-based solutions integrated with S/4HANA.
• Manage

  SAP BTP system landscape

  , including subaccounts, entitlements, service instances, and connectivity with backend systems.
• Configure and administer

  S/4HANA on-premise/cloud systems

  , including system refreshes, upgrades, kernel patching, and performance tuning.
• Establish and enforce

  best practices

   for SAP BTP security, user management, and role configurations.
• Oversee integration using

  SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Integration Suite, and APIs

  .
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for

  CI/CD pipelines

   in SAP environments using DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and development teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Provide

  technical leadership and mentorship

   to junior team members.
• Support system monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving performance and availability issues.
• Ensure

  compliance with IT governance, security, and audit

   requirements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP landscape, including

  minimum 3+ years on SAP BTP and 5+ years on SAP Basis/S/4HANA administration

  .
• Strong expertise in

  SAP BTP services

   such as CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Mobile Services, SAP Workflow, and SAP Event Mesh.
• Hands-on experience in

  S/4HANA installation, upgrades, migrations, and administration

  .
• Proficient in

  SAP Cloud Connector

  ,

  Destination configurations

  , and

  Hybrid system setups

  .
• Familiar with

  DevOps practices

  , tools like Git, Jenkins, and automation scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience with

  SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS)

   and

  SAP Authorization concepts

  .
• Exposure to hyperscalers like

  Azure, AWS, or GCP

   in the context of SAP BTP deployment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BTP

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP S/4HANA System Administration

• AWS/Azure cloud certification
