SAP BODS Consultant

You are a Senior SAP BODS Consultant with over 4 years of experience, focusing on data migration. Your expertise lies in SAP Data Services (BODS), covering all aspects of data migration such as requirement gathering, design, testing, validations, and mock load executions. Your responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document data migration requirements. You will analyze source and target systems in-depth to ensure a clear understanding of data migration needs. Using SAP BODS, you will design and develop data migration solutions, optimizing ETL processes while ensuring data quality and governance standards are met. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate data migration accuracy and completeness. Identifying and resolving migration issues is crucial, along with conducting mock data load executions to validate migration strategies. Effective collaboration with project stakeholders, including project managers and developers, is essential for successful data migration. Communication of progress, challenges, and results should be done efficiently. Continuous learning and contribution to enhancing data migration methodologies and processes are encouraged. Qualifications required for this role include a minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP Data Services (BODS) with a strong emphasis on data migration. Technical skills needed are expertise in SAP BODS for ETL processes, a solid understanding of data migration methodologies, and proficiency in requirement gathering, testing, and validation. This is a full-time position located in Hyderabad and Bangalore, requiring the ability to commute or relocate to either location. Immediate availability is preferred.
