HANA Administration Activities

Experience with HANA DB installation, backup/restore (HANA Studio / Cockpit), tenant DB management, HANA replication, system refresh, HANA patching (rev upgrades), and log-based monitoring.

SLT Administration Activities

Knowledge in SLT configuration, table replication setup, monitoring, performance tuning, schema mapping, data filter, latency troubleshooting, and integration with HANA/SAP BW.

Cronacle Job Scheduling

Knowledge with Cronacle job chains, dependency handling, calendar setup, monitoring failed jobs, trigger-based execution, and job audit history analysis.

Background Job Administration

Strong in SM36/SM37 job setup, job logs review, spool management, job class/resource allocation, time-based and event-based job scheduling, and job performance issues resolution.

Cloud SaaS Application Support

Exposure to managing SAP components on SaaS platforms (like SAP BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors), system integrations via cloud connectors, and hybrid landscape management.

SAP & HANA Performance Troubleshooting

Proficiency in ST03N, ST04, ST06, ST22, DBACOCKPIT, HANA Studio traces, expensive statements, SQL cache, memory bottleneck analysis, and workload tuning (App & DB layer).

BOBJ and BODS Knowledge

Working knowledge of BOBJ (CMC, BI Launchpad, LCM), and BODS (Job Server config, repository mgmt, ETL flows), troubleshooting, integration with HANA/BW, and job performance optimization.
