Role & responsibilities

SAP Basis & Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and maintain SAP ECC 6.0 (ABAP & Java Dynp ro, ESS) with performance tuning and system optimization.
• Perform installations, upgrades, kernel patching, and migrations across environments.• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Manage SSO (Single Sign-On) with Microsoft Active Directory on Azure.Security, Authentication & Compliance• Implement secure authentication and authorization policies in SAP.
• Manage SAP security roles, authorizations, and user access control.
• Ensure Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance and mitigate security risks.
• Implement advanced security measures including Zero Trust principles.
• Monitor and defend against cyber threat s targeting SAP environments.

Transport Management & Change Control

• Lead transport management strategy using SAP ChaRM or latest SAP transport tools

.• Automate SAP transport workflows to improve deployment speed and accuracy.• Implement CI/CD pipelines for SAP deployments in collaboration with DevOps teams

.• Ensure seamless integration of SAP change management with enterprise IT governance.

Cloud & Hybrid Integrations

• Work with SAP on Azure to optimize cloud hosting and hybrid deployments.
• Ensure secure and high -performance integrations between SAP and cloud services.
• Implement cloud-based monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Optimize SAP workloads using cloud-native automation and containerization. Network & WAF Security
• Strengthen SAP system security using Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Monitor SAP traffic flows, optimize load balancing, and prevent DDoS attacks.
• Work closely with network and cybersecurity teams to enhance SAP infrastructure resilience. Automation & Process Optimization
• Automate SAP system administration tasks using Python, Ansible, or Shell Scripting.• Implement AI-driven monitoring and self-healing mechani sms for SAP operations.
• Drive predictive maintenance strategies using data analytics and automation.• Optimize SAP job scheduling and background processing. Cross-Skill Development & Upskilling Initiatives
• Stay updated on emerging SAP technologies (SAP BTP, S/4HANA migration, AI & ML integration).
• Upskill in SAP Fiori administration, SAP UI5, and API-based automation.
• Develop expertise in Data Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and SIEM for SAP.• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, mentorship programs, and technical leadership.

Required Skills & Experince:

• 4+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 (ABAP & Java Dynpro, ESS), SAP Basis, and NetWeaver administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ChaRM (or latest SAP transport tools) and automated transport workflows.
• Strong understanding of SAP SSO with Microsoft Active Directory (Azure integration). Experience in Web Application Firewall (WAF) management and network security for SAP.
• Expertise in SAP security, SoD, SAP roles/authorization, and compliance.
• Proficiency in automating SAP administration on tasks using Python, Shell Scripting, or Ansible.
• Understanding of cloud-based SAP deployments, Azur integration, and hybrid models. Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications•

SAP Certification in Basis, Security, HANA, or Cloud Administration.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP Fiori administration, and API-based automation.
• Familiarity with Deveops, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for SAP
