Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and proactive SAP Basis Consultant to manage and maintain our SAP environments, ensuring system availability, performance, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with system installations, upgrades, migrations, and daily operations of SAP systems. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.). Manage database administration tasks (HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server). Monitor SAP system performance and perform tuning to ensure high availability. Perform client copies, system refreshes, and support transport management. Manage SAP patches, kernel upgrades, and system upgrades. Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams. Troubleshoot and resolve Basis-related issues promptly. Support backup and recovery strategy for SAP systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator/Consultant. Experience with SAP HANA and traditional databases (Oracle, MS SQL). Strong understanding of SAP architecture and components. Knowledge of SAP system copy, refresh, upgrade, and patching procedures. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Good understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration. Experience with Solution Manager is an added advantage. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Certifications Preferred: SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP Basis or SAP HANA Administration
