We are seeking a highly skilled SAP APO Consultant
with expertise in another SAP module (e.g., SD, MM, PP, or IBP) to join our dynamic AMS team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support, issue resolution, and enhancements for SAP Advanced Planning & Optimization (APO) solutions, as well as leveraging your expertise in an additional SAP module to deliver value to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP APO, coupled with the ability to manage integrations with other SAP modules. You will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of business processes for our clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

SAP APO Support and Enhancements
: - Provide ongoing support for SAP APO modules, including
DP (Demand Planning)
, SNP (Supply Network Planning)
, PP/DS (Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling)
, and GATP (Global Available-to-Promise)
. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to planning, scheduling, and optimization processes.
- Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.

Cross-Module Expertise
: - Apply your expertise in an additional SAP module (e.g.,
SD
, MM
, PP
, or IBP
) to enhance cross-functional processes and system integrations. - Design and configure solutions for seamless data flow between SAP APO and other SAP modules.

AMS Service Delivery
: - Provide end-to-end support, including incident management, problem resolution, and implementation of change requests.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and deliver proactive support to minimize system downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.

Process Improvement and Documentation
: - Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and system efficiency.
- Document system designs, test scenarios, and support procedures.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and team members.
Required Skills and Experience:

SAP APO Expertise
: - At least 5 years of experience in
SAP APO
implementation, configuration, and support. - In-depth knowledge of APO modules such as
DP
, SNP
, PP/DS
, and GATP
.

Additional SAP Module Expertise
: - Proficiency in at least one other SAP module (e.g., SD, MM, PP, or IBP).
- Understanding of integration points between SAP APO and other SAP modules.

AMS Background
: - Experience in AMS environments, including incident management, problem resolution, and system enhancements.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

Technical and Functional Skills
: - Ability to analyze and optimize planning processes, including demand forecasting, supply planning, and production scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of CIF (Core Interface) for integration between SAP APO and ECC/S4HANA.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA-based solutions is an advantage.
