SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer
(Junior or Senior depending on experience level and grade)
1. Dashboard & Report Development
Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using SAC
Ensure visualizations are user-friendly, insightful, and aligned with business needs
2. Data Modeling
Create and maintain SAC data models using both Live and Import connections
Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy
3. Planning & Forecasting
Implement SAC Planning features such as:
Data actions
Allocations
Predictive scenarios
Support financial and operational planning processes
4. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytics needs
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
5. Technical Delivery & Integration
Deliver end-to-end SAC solutions including storyboarding and visualization
Integrate SAC with SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA Cloud)
6. Troubleshooting & Optimization
Resolve issues related to data connectivity, model integrity, and report performance
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with security standards
7. Stakeholder Engagement & Training
Communicate effectively with stakeholders
Provide user training and support for SAC solutions
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Proficiency in:
Data modeling (Live & Import connections)
Story creation and dashboard development
SAC Planning features (data actions, allocations, predictive scenarios)
Good understanding of:
SAC architecture and connectivity (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA Cloud)
Security and performance optimization
Additional Skills
Experience with SAP BTP, BW/4HANA, or HANA Cloud (preferred)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Knowledge of Excel Add-in for SAC and mobile reporting
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Certifications (Preferred)
SAP SAC Certification
