Job Description

As an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 6-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying custom SAP ABAP programs and enhancements. Your role will involve designing and implementing reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW). You will be required to debug and troubleshoot ABAP code to resolve issues and work on SAP module integration while supporting cross-functional teams. Optimizing ABAP code for performance and system efficiency will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to develop technical specifications based on functional requirements and collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders for requirements gathering. Ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards, providing post-go-live support, and offering user training as needed are also part of this role. Your core technical skills should include a strong expertise in ABAP programming, encompassing classical and interactive reports, module pool programming, ALV reporting, smart forms, SAPScripts, enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, and BTEs), BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, data dictionary, and ABAP Objects (OOP). Experience with ABAP on HANA, including CDS views, AMDP, and Fiori development, is essential. Knowledge of integration with third-party systems using OData, Web Services, and APIs, as well as proficiency in performance tuning and debugging tools, is required. Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FICO, HCM, or PP is also beneficial. Preferred skills for this role include exposure to SAP S/4HANA and Fiori UI5 development, experience in SAP Workflow and BRF+, and knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). In addition to your technical skills, soft skills such as strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent communication and documentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are important for success in this role. Preferred certifications for this position include SAP Certified Development Specialist - ABAP for HANA and SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.,
