SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP programs (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms & Workflows).
  
• Develop and implement

  OData services

  for SAP Fiori applications, including CRUD-Q operations.
• Work extensively with

  IDoc structures

  , mapping, partner profiles, custom IDocs, and error handling.
• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization of ABAP programs.
  
• Build and maintain interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using IDocs and OData.
  
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation activities.
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in

  SAP ABAP RICEF

  objects.
• Expertise in

  OData service creation

  , annotations, deep structures, and performance tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of

  IDoc standard/custom development

  , configuration, ALE/EDI concepts.
• Experience in

  Debugging, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits

  , Enhancement Framework.
• Understanding of

  SAP Fiori

  architecture is a plus.
• Ability to analyze functional/technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  

Good to Have

• Exposure to

  SAP Gateway

  , CDS Views, RAP.
• Knowledge of integration with PI/PO or APIs.
  
• Experience in agile project environments.
