SAP ABAP Technical Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Technical Lead Role in SAP ABAP Development.
• Opportunity to design and architect SAP solutions for Enterprise Mobile and Dispatching Applications.
• Lead and supervise development teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to define technical strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance leadership and technical skills.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical designs and developed solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and unit testing to maintain solution integrity
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team.

Preferred candidate profile

• 812 years of experience in software development, with significant exposure to SAP technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership roles within SAP projects.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 2 full-cycle projects as Technical Lead.
• Strong expertise in ABAP, including Interfaces, Enhancements, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), OData.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in OOABAP is mandatory.
• Proven ability to lead development teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Functional knowledge in SAP PM, SAP PLM, SAP MM, and SAP ISU is an added advantage.
• Experience with SAP Enterprise mobility concepts and SAP Gateway is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
